rifle Merit Badges see Mr. Dansfield. There are regular activities at
the Sportsman's club that can go toward these merit badges. |

If you took the Motor Boating
merit badge at camp this summer or are interested in working on this Mr. Dansfield will be conducting the The DNR safe boating course and Test.
Passing this course is one requirement of the
Motor Boating Merit Badge.
This will probably be on a Saturday this Fall. Let Mr. Dansfield know
that you are interested in this and check back for details on when the class
will be. |

This year was probably one of the
better Brat Fry's. Thank you to all who helped to make it happen.
The boys worked almost 120 hours. As soon as The numbers are totaled
we will let the boys know how much their accounts will be credited for.

Keep your calendar open for September 3rd and/or 4th for
the brat fry. A work schedule will be going home with the boys and be
available online very soon. This is a big fundraiser for the troop
and also for the boys accounts as their accounts are credited for the hours
worked, the amount per hour is determined buy how much profit is made.

Parents ~ we also need all the help we can get setting up at between
7:00-8:00 am and packing up at 5:00pm on Saturday. |

The weather was unseasonably HOT for the Troops stay on
Mackinaw this year. Many are still trying to see the bridge swing over
to the island. Mr. P. assures everyone that this happens every night.

A good time was had by all at summer camp. The boys
earned many merit badges. There are a few who only need a few
requirements to finish. Mr. Langlois will be making sure that everyone
knows what they need to finish. |

Thanksgiving Feast will be earlier than normal this year and be
called the Fall Feast. All the activities will be the same as in the past.
This year the feast will be at Camp Betz in Berrien Springs the week end of
