Dorchester is a wonderful place to go for Mothers Day weekend just to get out
of your mothers hair. It is held in Canada every year with thousands of
attendees. I do not say Boy Scouts because in Canada the girls are
part
of the troop as well. This makes it very interesting to attend. When
there you are broken up into small patrols to attend activities . There
are over 100 choices so come with an opinion. They have everything from
Woodworking, to leather and branding. The things the boys like the most
are the more active ones like the swing across the lake, the grease pole you
have to climb, the mud pit ( I've only heard about this one), some boating,
Indian areas and much more. It's a great way to go and gets you out of
moms hair to boot. Crossing the boarder and exchanging currency can be a
thrill in itself. So come on and join in on the fun--you really need to
experience this one.
